Hi. Currently in Costa Rica and would like to set my thermostats before I come home to a freezing flat in London. Will be leaving Costa Rica at 14.00 local time next Monday, arrive home 10.00 GMT Tuesday via Newark airport USA. How do different time zones work? I would like my heating to come on 3 hours before I'm home at approx 11.30. BST. Will my mobile recognise the time back home?

Hello Tessav,
I'm sorry for the late reply, and I know it has been a while, but I wanted to ensure that everything is covered here.
Whether you're in a different region, as long as your thermostat was set up in a specific region, it'll automatically detect the date and time. But automatically turning on the heat for at least 3 hours before you arrive won't be possible. Your phone's location would contribute to sense if you returned home. So your thermostat will switch back to Home status and turn on the system or follow the schedule.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Regards,
Mark
