I bought thermostat, then "c-wire power connector" but i cannot install it because there are no control board on furnace and there are no c-wire on furnace.
Google support said my furnace is compatible with nest thermostat.
but how it can be installed? I even ordered professional installation for $150, guy arrived just to tell me what my furnace have no visible C-wire and suggested me to return nest thermostat. Google professional installation guy suggested me to return it.
but i still believe what problem can be solved. Somehow.
How?
P.S. what is the f... is this C-wire anyway and why nothing works without it? this is just ridicules how complicated is google thermostat installation

Hey there,
Sorry for the trouble. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. I found an article with more details on the Nest Power Connector. I also found an article with more details on the C wire. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Best regards,
Jake

I read these articles, they don’t help. My furnace doesn’t have visible C-wire. Therefore there is not way to attach “power connector”. You don’t have instructions how to solve this. “Power connector pro” has some diagram which involves transformer. But diagram uses 2 wires from transformer (without explanation what kind of wires). When i bought transformer I realized it has 3 wires! So I cannot use it.
I also tried to call “nest pro”, who happened to be non-competent: he didn’t understand transformer. He didn’t even tried anything, but said “you need to buy … new furnace”. That’s ridiculous. Nest support said my furnace is fine and can be used with nest.
so I need detailed instructions: how to connect thermostat to “heat only” furnace which doesn’t have c-wire visible (but I have 5 other wires on control board)
thanks.
