I have successfully added a new nest at a seperate house. I now want to share it with some others. But I only want to share the new thermostat, not my existing home thermostat.
I found these instructions:
Give someone Full Access
- Open the Nest app.
- If you have more than one home in the Nest app, make sure that the one you want to grant access to is active on the app home screen. ...
- Tap Settings. ...
- Tap Family & Guests . ...
- Tap Add a person.
- Enter the person's name as you'd like it to appear in the app and tap Continue.
I'm good up to #3. I hit the gear symbol and look for Family and Guests and hit the wall. I do not see such an option.
In addition, when I go to the home app on my phone the new thermostat shows offline while it is online in the Nest app on my phone.
There is a disconnect somewhere. How do I resolve this.
