Randomly, one day, my thermostat says, "The password has changed for the network, "NEST-PAN-B51D".
What's interesting is that this network name "NEST-PAN-B51D" must be a hard-coded name inside the firmware that QA uses for testing. I can come to this conclusion because I have zero neighbors and only one network within 10 miles... my own home Google Nest WiFi network is a completely different name with only 8 characters.
I purchased three Nest Learning Thermostat's, the first on October 17th 2023, and two more on November 7th.
For only one of my Nest Learning Thermostat units, the symptoms are exactly as this user stated. I've tried all of the same steps and approaches, still nothing seems to work.
I've tried:
Also tried this troubleshooter guide. Still not able to connect to the wifi.
By the way, my other two Nest Learning Thermostats are working perfectly fine.
I think I have a paper weight.
How do I go about exchanging the bad one for a new one, especially considering it's barley 3 months old.
thanks much!

Contacted Google this morning and using Google's Visual Assistance app, the technician was able to determine that my Nest Learning Thermostat has indeed malfunctioned. It's still under warranty, so a new unit has been sent.
