Hello all, does anybody know the voltage range the Nest Thermostat can support as power supply on T1 and T2. I know Heat Link sends 12V DC in case you want to use it, but my question is because I have 16V DC right next to thermostat (from HVAC control system) and I could save a lot of trouble if I could use that power supply to energize the thermostat. I know for example polarity does not affect even though it is DC, but I could not find if also can work fine under some voltage range or if it is only designed to work with 12V DC. I need to be sure because it may work but it could end up frying the internal batteries if it is not designed for a voltage range that includes the 16V DC.
