Received the email with discount for Tado device. Followed link and ordered. Then realised the Tado device isn't wired and requires batteries, so cancelled the order. Tried to order the wired version and system won't allow me to have the discounted price as it believes the voucher is "used". Since found out that despite the name, both the wired and wireless versions of the Tado still require batteries, which is annoying. Tried to then place new order for the wireless version however won't allow me to do this either. All of this could've been avoided if it was explained in the email sent by Google/Nest. Also how can you make highly complex products and AI/robotics but not be able to figure out a voucher code hasn't been used as the order was cancelled? I've filled out the help form twice, spoken to Google team on X and reached out to Tado. So far no-one has been able to help!

Thank you very much for contacting this community! I understand what you've been experiencing with the discount you received in that email for a new Tado thermostat. When you tried to redeem it, you ran into several issues, such as the discount already being used (when it actually wasn't) or there being two different thermostat models. That's why I'm here to help you!
I appreciate you taking the time to contact Google's representatives through X and Tado. Because of that, I'd like to ask if you have a case number from when you contacted them on X.
