Is there way to set a range? It’s Winter here so I would like my machine to turn on when inside temperature drops to 70 and turn off when it reaches 74. Any way to do this?

Hi Peru2600,
Thanks for posting. I understand that you want to set a temperature range that can turn the system on and off by following the temperature that the thermostat detects. Don't worry; help is here. To provide you with more accurate information, please let me know the Nest Thermostat that you have.
Let me explain that thermostats learn a different schedule for each temperature mode. For instance, if you currently have your thermostat set to heat, it’ll learn the temperatures you like for heating your home. If you have both heating and cooling, your thermostat will create separate schedules for Heat, Cool, and Heat•Cool.
You can check the "How Nest thermostats learn" for detailed information.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Best regards,
Jenny
