Temperature Sensors: We NEED the ability to customize the sensor schedule beyond the hourly presets

Please just read this thread....this is my exact problem described clearly and succinctly years ago which still has not been fixed, link below.

This extremely basic functionality which almost all other products have is still not available.  This makes the sensor which works fantastic otherwise, completely useless for my needs because my kids wake up at 8am and the sensor flips at 7am with no ability to change it so the heat kicks on full blast at 7am to heat up the downstairs of my home and makes my kids room 80+ degrees.  As the previous poster described I really would like to know why I cannot adjust this from a technical perspective because of how basic this ask is there must be a reason.
