Temperature sensor

My temperature sensor is offline, I can't find the check connection on the app or how to reconnect the sensor!!! I need assistance.

I am having the same problem. however I did find "the check connection [in] the app" from thermostat view in the nest app click/tap the temperature sensor that is listed as offline.

On my view the offline sensor has this character next to it > instead of o next to all the others... When I click/tap that sensor I get taken to " "Troubleshoot issues with the Nest Temperature Sensor"

I followed the instructions for" your sensor is offline in the app" but unfortunately it did not resolve my problem.

I then tried to follow the instructions for " you can't connect the sensor to your thermostat" but unfortunately that did not resolve my problem either...

I was searching for a solution to my problem which is an issue after setup where my sensor is offline in the app or has trouble communicating to the thermostat and I am unable to get my sensor to connect in the app, when I came across your problem and happen to know the answer. I hope you have better luck than I am.
