Thermostat Random clicking

Morgan1
Community Member

Hi

My thermostat has just started randomly clicking. Everything still works. I have reset the thermostat and checked the battery levels on the app and they all seems to be okay however it still just randomly clicks.

Any ideas how to make it stop?

Hi Morgan1,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

Few questions to further isolate the issue:

  • Do you have a common (C) wire connected?
  • Did you hear the clicking sound from the Nest Thermostat or from your HVAC unit?
  • Check all the wire at the back of your thermostat and make sure they are all seated properly. If possible, try to re-strip them to expose new copper wire.

Let us know how it goes by replying to this thread.

Regards,

Ryan
