Thermostat Reset

Someone who is staying at my house has done a reset on my thermostat and now can't access the functions to turn on the heat. I am not there to reconnect the Wi-Fi to the thermostat. The screen says waiting for Google Home app to complete setup. Is there a way to go around the Google home app temporarily until I get back to the house?

unfortunately, if a factory reset was performed on your thermostat, your only choice is to perform a new installation if that’s why it is asking for the Google Home app. You cannot force the Google Nest Learning Thermostat Gen-4 to bypass the installation process.  And why in the heck was your friend even in the set up menu on your nest thermostat?
