Thermostat and app failure to connect

New 5th generation thermostat on a first time install.  It won't connect to the app via my phone.  I've followed advice from internet list resetting thermostat, phone, wifi, etc.

 

Still no success. 

 

Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with pairing your Nest Thermostat to the app. I'd love to know more about this. Could you share the message that you're getting when it fails to add?
