Thermostat issue again

Once again my thermostat is not talking to the app.  It appears on the app-but you can not open the link to adjust the temp or change any settings.   This thermostat has been setting Temps on its own and I am constantly resetting it.  I’ve turned the thermostat off, confirmed the internet is active and reset it 

this happens once a quarter or so.  I’m frustrated and ready to switch to something that might actually work without issue for awhile.    What’s wrong with this??

We're sorry to hear that you're having this issue on your Nest Thermostat. Let's check a couple of things for us to further isolate the issue.

 

Check the temperature schedule. It's possible that the thermostat is learning and automatically adjusting the temperature. Are you using the Nest app or Google Home app?
