Thermostat needs manual charging & network connectivity issues all of a sudden

Tried all the approaches recommended in this forum to get the wifi connectivity, but failed miserably. This failed end of its 2nd year and I discovered this forum recently (a year later) and need help getting it fixed.

• What type of thermostat do you have? 
• When did the issue start?
• Are the power breakers on, and do you receive power to your home?
• Do you see any power errors?

In the meantime, here are some initial troubleshooting steps you can try:
 

• Remove the thermostat display from its base and check if any connector pins are bent.
• Ensure all wires are securely fastened to their terminals and all buttons are fully pressed.
