Over a month ago, my Google Nest 3rd Generation thermostat, which I bought in September 2023, stopped detecting my Wi-Fi and no longer has a functioning motion sensor. I tried everything that YouTube has to offer to help get it to work, but with no luck.
I decided to get an electrician to check the wires; they were great, and the battery power was also great. That's when I realized it had to be the thermostat.
After checking your reviews, I noted that a lot of people have the same problem. So, I would like a replacement or a refund, please.
User's recommendation: Love the problem, but just want the product to work

It’s crazy. Same happened to mine after many years. I bought a new one after trying a battery change. Even the new one won’t connect. Any suggestions community?

Hi there folks!
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
One of the main reasons for getting a Nest thermostat is to be able to use it remotely. So, it's completely understandable if you feel frustrated if you can't use it that way. But don't worry, help's here!
The first thing to check is whether any other devices are unable to connect to the internet either. Are you able to see any other networks on your thermostat as well?
Ensure there's no interference that could cause the thermostat not to work properly, such as a Bluetooth device, any cordless phone, or any physical interference like mirrors and thick walls.
If you've checked for interference and all other devices seem to connect with no problem (since you mentioned the battery level is above the recommended 3.8v and there are no problems with the voltage on your wires), then I suggest filling out this form. Doing so will let us take a closer look at your thermostat and determine the best course of action.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Angel.
