When I login into my nest account on a web browser it shows my cameras but no longer shows my 2 thermostats,  Everything is showing properly on my iOS app.  Any ideas?

Hi nickinlou,

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

It's certainly strange that you're not able to access your thermostats on your browser. Let's see what we can do about it.

Since everything is showing properly on your phone, I want to know if you're able to make changes to the thermostat as well. There could be a possibility that either the browser or your app isn't properly synced, which could make it seem like it's not there even though it is.

It's important to check a few things as well, like making sure you're viewing the correct home structure if you have multiple ones.

My suggestion would be to try and clear the cache and cookies from your browser to get a fresh start on that side, as well as double-checking that you're logged into the correct Nest account.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Angel.

I am able to make changes on the app.  I cleared cookies and cache on the bowser and still not there.  I also tried to login via a totally different browser with the same result.  Also I verified the names were the same account.

Hi nickinlou,

Thanks for posting in the Community! Sorry to hear that you aren't being able to see your Nest Thermostat through the web page. No worries, help is here! I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you already did, they are really helpful. I'd like to ask you a few more questions to gather some other details:

  1. What is the make and model of your computer?
  2. What is the operating system of your computer?
  3. What browser do you use?

Keep me posted.

Regards,
Axel.

Hi nickinlou,

Thanks for replying! I appreciate the information provided. Let's try some troubleshooting steps:

  1. Verify the device’s date and time settings are correct and automatically set. Don't set them manually.
  2. Make sure the web browser is on the latest version.
  3. Check for any possible browser extensions or add-ons that might be installed and prevent the functionality of Adobe Flash. Here you have the steps to disable add-ons in Google Chrome.
  • In the Chrome window, click the menu icon > select Settings.
  • Select the Extensions link on the screen. Any extensions that have a check mark are enabled.
  • Disable any add-ons that are enabled.
  • Close the browser (Alt + F4), then relaunch it.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Axel.
