Please help! My thermostat is showing 2 degrees in google home app, but on tuya app (which is linked with google home) the temperature is correct (21 degrees). Also i only can ajust it from 0.5 degrees to 3.5 degrees. Thx!

Having the same problem, haven't found a solution yet. There's near nothing in the internet about it too. Would love to get a solution to it because I really like the google home interface.

I have the same issue with my thermostat for a week or so.
But it doesn’t stop there. After an update Google Home discovered another thermostat in the network which also displays wrong data.

In the meantime the thermostat works perfectly fine in Tuya and HA

I have this thermostat from 2020 and never disappointed me, hopefully there will be a way to continue using it with Google Home app.

I have it configured in Home Assistant and everything works perfectly fine there. Even the integration with HomeKit is working perfectly.
This is the thermostat I’m using: BHT-002

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with using your Nest Thermostat on the Google Home app. I'd love to know more about this. Is the Nest Thermostat itself showing the correct temperature?

Thanks,

Edward

Hi! The thermostats are not Google's Nest Thermostats, they are just linked to Google Home with the app's (Smart Life) account that they are connected to. It's kind of fixed now regarding the shown temperatures, but it is still displaying "cool" on the home screen and a snowflake at the bottom of the setting temperature screen (can be seen on added pictures). This probably means that Google Home is still taking them as cooling devices instead of heating. Not a huge problem in my mind but would be nice if it got fixed too. Also very happy with Google Home showing correct temperatures now!

Best regards,
