When does the thermostat record that the furnace, heating system, actually runs? 

Apparently it never records if the thermostat is OFF even though the Safety Temperature told it to run. 

It's also looking like it does not record the demand for heat when it's in ECO mode.

Apparently the smart people who put their feet under a desk and get paid too much can't answer these questions. 

Matter of fact, the Google Nest idiots think that if the thermostat is turned off that the heating system WILL NOT RUN. Which is a LIE.
