Thermostat resets temperature setpoint and displays green leaf when I have disabled that feature. I remember that in our area there is a way the power company can change your nest Thermostat during times of energy high demands. I have never signed up for that, but over the last year during the night the thermostat cooling is reset to a 1 degree higher temperature the I have scheduled. I have look everywhere but cannot find a way to stop it.

Hi cataylor,
Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Also, in what state are you located?

Jenelyn

Thanks for the reply. My thermostat is third generation and I live in San Antonio, Texas. The thermostat seems to change at midnight and noon by one degree. When this happens the green life is displayed. However, it is not consistent. That is it does not happen every day

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to us. Have you reached out to your power company to check if you are enrolled for such energy rewards? If not, you may reach them out first then let us know what they have advised you.
Thanks for your help, Jenelyn.
Best,
Zoe
