Thermostat says heat is on, heatlink doesn't turn on. And manually turning on is fine.

The thermostat was set up by professional March 2022. It had been working fine, until last night I found the house was very cold, I checked the thermostats ( I have two for different floors), both stated heat was on but all the radiators were cold.

Heatlink has light on and radiator can be turned on manually by clicking button.

Please help. Thank you very much for your help in advance.

UPDATE: only floor heating is working, but radiators are not.

Hi there! Sorry to hear about this, but no worries, I'll do my best to assist you. Let's try to perform a click test and see if this behavior is because of the Heat Link. Therefore, please go by the Heat link with your Nest app device and do the following steps: using the Nest App, make sure the display is black and call for heat, the screen should change into orange and listen for a click from the Heat Link. Then turn off the heating (the screen should turn black) and listen for the "click" sound. Let me know how it went afterwards.

Hi OannaCG, I called the Google guy earlier and did that, and hear both click sound. The guy who helped me to install also stopped by and had a look, said its likely the pipes to the radiators are blocked or something like that but nothing wrong to the thermostat, would get a plumber to look into this now. Thank you for your help.

No worries @Lucydeluvy , I am happy to hear my colleague was able to assist.

Hearing clicks from the Heat Link is a good indicator that the thermostat is working correctly and something else may be going in the system. I will go ahead and close down this thread but if you need further assistance after you have the system checked out, make sure to open up a new one. Have a great weekend ahead!
