Thermostat says starting soon then starts countdown again

Fan kicks on for about 60 seconds then kicks off and goes back to saying starting soon to cool. Set temperature is never achieved due to this.

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. A few questions: have you experienced any power outages recently? When was the last time your system was checked by a professional? Also, please take a photo of the wires you have on your Nest Thermostat and share it with us.
