Our thermostat has started switching on to its scheduled temperature four hours prior to its switch on time. It creates a temperature during the day that is too hot and has to be manually lowered. This started after we changed from plusnet to BT for our Wi-Fi. It did not happen straight away but a few months afterwards. Can you please offer advice.

Hello Thurlestone,
Thanks for reaching out. It appears like you're experiencing an unusual issue with your Nest Thermostat after switching Wi-Fi providers. While it may seem like a coincidence, it's worth exploring potential causes and solutions to get your thermostat back on track.
Since you mentioned that the issue began after switching Wi-Fi providers, it's possible that there could be an issue with the connection between your thermostat and the new Wi-Fi network. Did you perform a reset to the thermostat recently? If so, you might have set up the thermostat with a temperature schedule available. Consider checking if there are any conflicting settings or schedules programmed into your thermostat. Ensure that your scheduled temperatures are set correctly and that there are no overlapping or conflicting schedules that could be causing the early activation.
Let us know how it goes.
Best regards,
Mark
