My nest seems to keep turning on every 15 minutes or so for about 7 minutes at a time. This constant turning on and off is really starting to bug me and I feel like it is not good for my system. Is there not a way I can set a range for my thermostat? Like if I have the temps set to 70, it should cool to 70 but then wait until 72 or 73 to kick back on again so it’s not constantly turning off and on. Or maybe have the home set to 70 but let it cool down to 68 or 69 as a threshold so that it doesn’t have to turn back on so soon. I hope what I’m trying to say is understandable.

Nobody seemed to understand what they were trying to say so I’m asking again in hopes someone can tell me where to find this setting or if this thermostat just sucks and I need a different brand. My old one from the 90s could do this, it’s frustrating that I suspect this one can’t.
