My thermostat has a jumper from RH to RC I know to remove that but also looks like one from W to Y can anyone help clarify this for me

Just ignore all jumpers. The jumper between W and Y was required for your original thermostat, and only the Y terminal needs to be connected with the Nest thermostat

So I connected everything and could not get the temperature of the apartment below 80 but the air was constantly on I’m not sure if it’s the cooling coil but when I put the old thermostat back on it started going down right away
