Just added a new Navien combi-boiler and the Nest now continues to send power via the red lead once the room comes to temp. Lower the temp on the nest, signal is still being sent. Turn off the nest, still get the need heat signal. Wiring is set up correctly (two wire with a hot common). Even tried removing the batteries, the nest still sends the on signal.
Does anybody at Google actually read or respond to these posts? My solution so far was to put a Honeywell thermostat on, now it works like a champ.

Hi MCS08097,
Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about what happened.
Another way to further test it is to remove the Nest Thermostat completely off the base. This way, we can check if it is still sending out a signal to your heater to activate.
Let us know how it goes by replying to this thread.
Best regards,
Ryan

We were never able to get the Nest to work with the Navien NCB-190, so we had to use a Honeywell thermostat that works like a champ. Until I hear back from you that you have identified what is causing the problem and have a solution, I have no reason to reinstall the Nest. Needless to say I have not been impressed with effort to identify the issue.

Hi MCS08097,
We're sorry that you feel this way. We wanted to further isolate the problem if it is coming from the Nest Thermostat or from any wiring configuration.
Also, selecting the right heat type and source in the settings > equipment will help us in making sure that your system works well with Nest Thermostat.
Best regards,
Ryan
