Don't mean to hijack this post, but I'm having the same issue and have completed all troubleshooting steps as outlined in the article you shared with no luck.
I have 3 Nest thermostats. I recently got a new router and was able to change the wifi credentials in 2 of my Nests with no issue. The 3rd Nest thermostat can not find the network though. After following all the troubleshooting steps multiple times, just this morning I plugged in the 3rd Nest that I couldn't connect to wifi into the base of one of the Nests that was working correctly and it still couldn't find a network.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? Thanks!
