Thermostat

I have checked and rechecked my temperature preferences and schedule, but my nest thermostat frequently shows cooling to 68°. I never cool down to that temperature. Got home from work and it's down to 69°. What causes this?

It appears that your Nest Thermostat changes the temperature by itself. Let's see what's going on. 
 

To isolate:

• What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
• Are there any family members that have access to your device?
• What's the make and model of phone that was used for the set up?

Hello there,

Thanks for getting back and for sharing the details. 

To refresh, clear all your Nest Thermostat schedule temperatures on the Google Home App, including the temperature presets. Also, it would be best to create a manual schedule temperature to make sure it'll only follows the one you created. Then, monitor your device. Here's your reference link.
