Trying to Figure Out Compatibility with Dual Zone Single System

Stevenpeven

My wife and I just purchased a home and we are trying to figure out if our nests will be compatible. The system is set up as dual zone, but there is only one furnace and one AC unit. I'm thinking yes, but just want to double check with someone who has more expertise.

Below are photos of the current thermostat and zone setup

You have a nice 4-zone system that is only compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen.

Can you post a picture of the zone controller wiring? The cover will pop off.

Do you know if it is a conventional or a heat pump system?

Our house is a single AC unit with multiple zones we just set up our first nest. It only controls the zone it is in but so far so good!

When you have multiple zone HVAC system, you will have multiple thermostats in the house and a zone controller located near the air handler unit.  For multiple zone systems you will need a nest thermostat for each of the thermostats in the house.

Thank you all for your answers!

@Patrick_Caezza It is a conventional system. Please see the zone controller wiring below
