Turn hot water on using Google assistant (voice) and nest learning thermostat

I can't use Google Assistant (voice commands) to turn the hot water on and off. 

The heating can be turned on and off using voice commands not problem 

Is this command. It available? Or am I doing something wrong?

No worries, you're not missing anything. Hot water control is currently not available for the Assistant commands. You can check out Use Google Assistant with Nest products page to see what commands are available.

This is a miss that voice control (via either Google or Alexa) for hot water is not available for the Nest Thermostat 3rd gen - why aren’t development teams working on this? - it’s clearly something the community wants!

Agreed. It's very odd, there are two core functions. heating and hot water and only heating is voice controllable!

No as there's nothing to help with as you have said the ability to turn the hot water on and off with your voice is not available and not on the roadmap.

Hi Vladut, can someone in Google please raise this as a development ticket so progress can be tracked? Simply referring to the support page for updates is not progressing anything - judging by some of the previous threads on this that has been the response for a number of years now. Thanks
