As title I've not been able to connect to Nest service for a couple of days now. Never had this issue before while away at work. I'm not able to reset anything as I am away at work.

You will need to wait until you get home, check your home internet connection, router, etc, first step is a power cycle of modem and wifi routers, go from there. Sadly with no internet connection from outside there is nothing that can be done by remote.

I can control other equipment remotely so the wifi IS working, another issue is that I have tried several times to reset my password for the Nest app and keep getting the message check your email for instructions....guess what ....no email(s). so stuck in a loop. Just updated the app and still no further forward.

Okay sorry your first post was a bit murky on details. Are you able to log into home.nest.com through a web browser?
