Unable to create or connect Nest’s

Hi community,

 

We are have been trying for a long time to connect our nests to our NEST app, and also our Google home.

 

1. One issue is, we are unable to create a NEST account due to the issue with the app page that asks you to locate your home, not being able to progress on that even though we hover over on our home.

 

2. The link appears to be connected to our plumbers by something called a Nest Pro ID. We are not sure if this has something to do with preventing our progress?

 

We are just completely stuck. We have spent hours trying to remedy and also read up on forums.

 Any help would be appreciated.

Additionally, check if there are any app permissions that need to be granted for the location feature to work properly. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Nest app to see if that resolves the problem.
  2. The Nest Pro ID is typically associated with professional installers or technicians who have been certified by Nest. If your devices are linked to a Nest Pro ID, it could potentially affect your ability to manage them through the Nest app or Google Home. Was this thermostat installed by a Nest Pro?
