We have a schedule for our heating in our house, a period in the mornings and again in the late afternoons, nothing in between, quite often I find the heating coming on outside of the scheduled times, especially overnight, I sometimes have to get up and turn the thermostat down manually, then the heating doesn’t come on next morning as scheduled , I have tried everything I know , but nothing fixes this problem.u

Hello Tonypeter88,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your thermostat activating your heat unexpectedly. I'd love to know more about this.
To isolate, what specific type of Nest thermostat do you have? Also, could you provide a rundown of all the steps you've tried?
I'll look forward to your response.
Thanks,
Mark

it’s the latest generation learning thermostat, I have tried all the recommended settings on the forum to no avail, turned off auto learning etc, heating still coming on outside scheduled times, only way to stop it is to turn heat settings down to minimum.

Hi Tonypeter88,
Great troubleshooting so far, and I appreciate you trying to find a fix. A few more questions: have you tried resetting it to default and creating a new temperature schedule? This will allow your thermostat to refresh and learn again about its schedule.
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Mark
