Updating phone number

How the hell is there not a way for you guys to update a phone number on an account. This is GOOGLE for God' sake. It is absolutely ridiculous. I can have a robot type what I want but not update a phone number. I have to create a whole new email to set up this junk I just spend $200 on. This is completely unacceptable.

I think this is probably not the right place for this post, certainly not under thermostat. Anyway, if you want to change your Google Account phone number just go to https://myaccount.google.com/personal-info

 

I cant manange or install my thermostat without being able to log into my account. The phone numbers are correct under that link. I cannot log into my Nest account. The phone number connected to Nest is wrong.

Hey slpearson7,

 

If you try to do an account recovery on your Nest account, are you able to complete that process? Can you have it set a one-time login code to your email rather than to the phone number on file? If that's not working for you, please let me know.
