Yes (if I understand your question)  --  "Eco mode" is Nest's name for a permanent hold.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

In addition to what CBFox has mentioned, you can remotely manage your thermostat using the Nest app or Google Home app. You can also set a temperature schedule to automatically adjust your home temperature while you're away.
