W1 to wireless relay to activate boiler

I'm running the W1 to a wireless relay to signal a 24vac boiler relay since I cannot physically run a wire from the Nest to the boiler.  When I turn on the heat, the W1 does not seem to activate.  I've tested the wireless relay and boiler coil relay, and they are both functioning.  Basically just trying to get 24 volts from W1.  Is there something else that needs to be done in order for the Nest to output the W1?  

Nest is powered by an air handling unit with Rh, C, G, and Y1 (these all work fine)
