Warranty claim online form for 3rd gen nest return not working

smachin1000

I have two 3rd gen Nest thermostats, one of them is not working correctly.  I am trying to submit a claim via the form at https://support.google.com/product-documentation/contact/nest_warranty but each time I hit submit, it says "Refresh this page and try again. Sorry, there was a problem with the form."  There is no indication on the form UI of any fields incorrect.

How do I get my warranty claim submitted?

Hey smachin1000,

I have forwarded the broken warranty page over to our team, and they are looking into what the issue could be. I know this is not the most ideal experience, and our team is looking into getting this fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, I would recommend contacting our support team for further help.

Best regards,

Jake

Thanks for the reply Jake. It looks like warranty return website (https://support.google.com/product-documentation/contact/nest_warranty) is still not working? Is there a team that monitors this?

I was not able to make any further inroads via the support team link you provided.

What else can I try? I would have thought a company the size of Google would be monitoring things like forms working correctly pretty much daily?

Jake, the form at https://support.google.com/product-documentation/contact/nest_warranty is still not working. It's been 2 weeks now. Any news from that team on when it will resume working.

Hi smachin1000,

I'm sorry to hear that you're still having an issue with your Google Nest Wifi. We'd like to take a deeper look into this — could you fill out this form and let us know once you're done?

Appreciate the help here, @Jake.

Thanks,
Mel

OK just filled out that form you linked. Is there any other way to get a warranty claim going apart from the online form? I don't want to have my warranty run out while waiting for things to be fixed there.

Hey smachin1000,

We got your form — thanks for filling it out. Keep your lines open as our team will reach out to you via email anytime soon.

Also, please continue the conversation there as this thread will be locked after 24 hours.

Cheers,
Mel
