We are new to using the nest thermostat. We live in Arizona so I want to set it so it stays at 77 all the time and the air isn't running all day. I have it set at 77 but it keeps the house at 75. How do I fix this?

Nest Heatlink base unit to heating system doesn’t power up

Google nest heat link base unit connected to heating system has stopped working. Changed fuse and checked power supply and tried a reset but not lighting up. My 86 year old mother comes home from hospital tomorrow and we have no heat - please help !
