Hi all,
Not getting on with Nest at all since having it installed. What does the 20 relate to above? I have no settings set to 20 degrees, and the max temp I have my schedule set to is 16 degrees.
Also, despite the above, my rooms still get way too hot (definitely over 16 degrees!). I’ve turned off true radiant and home assist.
Other settings in screenshots. Help! Close to throwing the whole thing in the bin!

The 20 is the current temperature that the Nest is reading.
Do you have the Nest thermostat location in a warm area?

Hi Patrick, thanks for your reply. It’s 1 degree outside at home though and my heating settings are set to max 16 degrees, so I don’t understand why it would heat to 20? The room is not particularly warm…

Where do you have it located?
Is it close to a heat source or such?

It’s just in our office, not next to a heat source

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out — I'd love to help. Could you tell if your Nest Thermostat display is warm by holding it in your hand? Do you have a thermometer that you can use for your reference to see how much the difference between temperatures? Also, try to restart your thermostat by going to the Settings then Reset and select Restart.
I appreciate your help, @Patrick_Caezza.
Best,
Jenelyn

@Jenelyn_O Hi, no it’s not warm at all. The difference varies by about 5-10 degrees. Yesterday it was reading 28 degrees and we were sat with blankets on us!
I’ve already done a re set and no joy…

Hi Riachalder,
Thanks for the update. I'm sorry for the delay. Could you please check the Software of your Nest Thermostat if it's up to date? Also, check your thermostat Signal Strength. You can try to disconnect your thermostat to your Wi-Fi Network for 24 hours to isolate it further.
Best,
Jenelyn
