Heatwave help needed! Used this nest for a month with no problems. My wife or kids might have adjusted something at night. Air conditioning will not gp on and temp is in 80s and climbing. On normal view it shows my desired temp, 74, with 2+ hours, above it. And a sliding seltion going to the actual temp in the 80s.
how do i get my air to start blowing!

Great question! I have the same problem. Some setting is protecting the compressor and it cuts of every 5 minutes.
1st issue was the Low Battery.
I’ll be happy to adjust all these settings later but a least help me get the house to 75* now

Hi everyone!
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
There could be several reasons why your thermostat is behaving strangely. Let's get it back on track!
It would be helpful to know what type of system your thermostat controls. If you're unsure, a picture of the wiring or a list of connected wires would be useful. The most important thing is to determine if you have a C wire.
A delay message when activating the thermostat often indicates a power issue with the wiring. This doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem with your HVAC unit, but it's a good idea to check some basic things before calling a technician.
I recommend checking if your air filter is clogged. A clogged filter can cause similar problems. Make sure you've replaced the air filter within the last month.
Let me know how it goes!
Regards,
Angel
