Hi,
I am away from home where the thermostat is and I’ve closed the Google account that it was linked to.
when I return I home I will link it to my new Google account but my question is - will it continue providing heating instructions to my boiler as previously set both on a continuing basis AND the safety setting?
OR as it’s Google account is closed does it just give up and switch off?

Thanks for reaching out! I understand your question is whether instructions set on your previous account will work with your new account.
Unfortunately, the answer is no. When you switch accounts, you'll need to set up all the configurations and settings again according to your preferences.

Hi thank you SO much for your reply.
i understand you but what about the 7 degree safety setting? That’s pre populated - would that trigger if it got cold?

Regarding your question about whether the safety setting will continue, the answer is no. You will need to activate the temperature safety again. Here is a link that will help you with activating the temperature safety please visit Thermostat safety temperatures. You can follow the steps and you will notice that it is so easy to activate the temperature safety.
