I installed 2 learning Nest Thermostats about 6 months ago. One up, one down. This morning the down one said it was offline. I tried searching on the thermostat dial for my network and it can't find ANY networks, let alone mine. I did a reset of the thermostat. No change.I put in the information manually for the wi fi and it said it failed to connect. I deleted it from the nest app and tried to re-install but my phone can't find the device. (TD023 error code). When I put it back on the base it says "Connect to base" so my first thought is maybe a wire came loose but all the buttons are still pressed where wires are connected, I'm thinking my next step will be to restart the router and then try to re-install. No harsh storms last night, the upstairs unit is still working perfectly. Not sure why the downstairs unit went offline around 4-5 am. Willing to try anything at this point.

Hi larz28,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue reconnecting your Nest Thermostat to the Wi-Fi network, and I appreciate the steps you've taken. Let's sort this out.
Are you getting any reports in the Network settings? If so, what's the message code? Check the battery level in the Technical Info settings, and could you give these steps a whirl?
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Mark
