I have (5) wires coming from my HVAC unit. I have the BLUE wire which I have wire-nutted off. This is because I had to replace my original Honeywell WiFi T-Stat (T-Stat failed) with a manually controlled T-Stat. The WiFi T-Stat had used the Blue wire and the new, basic T-Stat did not need the 24 vac Blue wire. The Nest install guide does not show the “C” terminal being connected to any wire. Should I connect my Blue wire to this terminal? Thanks.

If you are 100% sure that the blue wire is connected to the C terminal in the furnace/air handler, then connect it to the C terminal on the Nest thermostat.
