Looking for some help. I'm trying to hook up my 3rd Generation Google Nest thermostat and keep getting a message to find a certified NEST thermostat installer from my app. I'm attaching a photo of my wiring and the model of my outdoor unit. We just recently moved into our house. I believe my unit is a heat pump by the model number of my outdoor unit. Any help is appreciated.

Hey pjfink,
Sorry for the delay but thanks for reaching out and for the photos.
Based on the wires of your current thermostat, you have a dual fuel system. Sometimes, this is also called a hybrid or packaged system which is a combination of a heat pump for primary heating and cooling, and a furnace (usually gas or oil) that provides a second and/or third stage of heating.
While the Nest thermostat is compatible with this system, you will need to have a trained professional set up your thermostat. It’s important for a professional to assess the requirements for your specific dual fuel configuration since choosing incorrect options for a dual fuel system can result in damage to your system. We highly recommend that you contact a local pro.
