Recently installed a new Gen4 Nest thermostat. Used same wires/lettered connections that were used with Gen3 thermostat. Have a heat pump system in my home. AC side is working fine. My alternate heat source is Gas, but the app reports Electric. Is this an issue? Need to resolve this issue before cold weather sets in. I’m unable to change the backup heat source reported in the app.
Should i just go ahead and call a service tech to come inspect the system, and make sure all is functioning as intended?
