Hi @Tchupek,
Thanks for contacting this community! I understand that your thermostat won't power up after the installation, but it works when you put in the other model. For this specific situation, I'd like to ask you some questions about your device:
- Do you have a Nest Thermostat? If so, what is the model of your thermostat? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify your thermostat model.
- Does the thermostat charge via a USB cable?
- Are all the wires of your thermostat seated firmly in their terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
- When you connect your thermostat, do you see any blinking light on the top of the display?
- Do you see any message on the thermostat's display?
In the meantime, I would like to attach some troubleshooting steps that might help you:
- Please remove the thermostat display from its base and check if any connector pins are bent.
- Check if the thermostat wires are firmly secured in their terminals and all the buttons are down (or depressed).
- Charge the thermostat with a mini-USB, micro-USB, or USB-C cable (depending on your thermostat model) and a USB charger.
