York WVH-21 Conpatibility

Hello,

we have cooling system of York with the outdoor units of YGFN42BYMNUVH1 and the indoor unit of YGFN42BXNWUVH1. I want to change the WVH-21 model wired York thermostats with Nest ones, however don’t know how to convert the connection  to integrate the new Nest thermostat with the indoor units. Can you please advise how to do and which units I should order direct.

Regarding this topic, since you want to change your York cooling units for Nest thermostats, I would like to ask you some questions so that I can provide you with the correct steps and recommend compatible thermostats for your system.

  • Could you send me a photo of the wiring that you have in your thermostat?
  • Could you send me a photo of the control board of your HVAC system?
