Hi I have a nest account that has suddenly asked for my password 

due to two step verification and no longer having the original phone I cant get past the security 

How do I re establish access to my account

Hi Ryan this still isn't helping me

I have followed the instructions but when I try to sign in to the nest account it refers me to the two step verification 

This involves a code going to a phone I no longer own 

Surely if I have my email and the password that's enough security??

Who would need to hack my thermostat??

Please help me as I have no remote access to my device

has anyone any ideas on how to retrieve my account 

I have no access to my thermostat via my phone until I can re-establish my account unfortunately the 2  step retrieval is no help when you no longer have the phone number
