everything set up but nest not firing up boiler

hello  everyone

2 day ago was perfecly fine and from this morning nest dont starting boiler up. it says heating but boiler off, even if i press manualy to turn boiler on heat link its green light come up like heatin on but boiler not fire up.

anyone have any idea whats can be wrong??

Hey @mario3 and @kamshafiq,

That's a strange issue you have there, let's look into it together. Does the screen turn orange when you call for heat? Do all 3 lights shows when you press the button on the Heat Link for Manual Mode?

Also, please go to the Heat Link, call for heat from the Nest app and listen for  a click. Afterwards, turn it off and listen again for a click. Do the same for the Hot Water boost and let me know if you hear a click.

All 3 buttons light up green on the Heat Link.

No, to a click for central heating.

Yes, to a click for Hot Water - boiler then fires up.

Hey @kamshafiq,

Thank you for your response. If you don't hear a click, the issue might be a stuck relay. I'd suggest you contact an installer or a Nest Pro to have a look, and if he believes that the Heat Link is faulty, it would be best to call us while he's still there.

@mario3, based on what you're saying, the Nest system seems to be sending and receiving the commands, but if the boiler doesn't start, the issue might be with the rest of the heating system and could be the case of a stuck valve. I also recommend that you contact an installer or Nest Pro to have a look and give us a call while he's there, as we might need him to perform a continuity test if the rest of the system seems fine.

Hi, checked your instructions again about the 'click'.

Yes, when I turn on the central heating I DO hear a click from the Heatlink but nothing happens to the boiler.

Hi Drago,

I have engaged a plumber to install a new boiler. Our current boiler is approx 17 years old. If had been working with the Nest up until a few weeks ago so I would imagine the wiring would be fine.

yeah. still nest dont start heating. hot woter everything working fine. just problem is with thermostat or heat link. boiler working.

Yes when I turn to heat its solar orange and says heating . But boiler don't fire up. And when I press button on heat link all 3 green lights come up. But boiler don't starting up.

Was thinking it might be boiler problem. But boiler working when I turn on heating manually on boiler not thru nest
