I have tried resetting, re-entering wifi details etc but it still doesn't seem to connect to the wifi - I saw an earlier post about the same problem where they said they would contact the posters directly.  Hopefully someone will be able to do the same for me please ...

Hi Katrina,

Sorry to hear about your connectivity issues! I can totally get how frustrating it is to have your WiFi drop. I'm happy to look into this for you.

I have reached out to you via private message for more details. Be on the lookout for an email from Google Nest Support.

Meanwhile, I will be closing and locking this thread. If there are any other new questions you have, please feel free to make a new thread. Thanks!

I’m having the same issue. I’ve done all the troubleshooting step and my best thermostat is still giving a W5 error

Hey Dandre,

Sorry to hear about what you're going through with your Nest thermostat as well as for the delayed response. Let's check on this further.

A few questions ― what type of Nest thermostat is this? Could you provide a rundown of the steps you've already tried just for us to cover all the bases? Also, could you provide a photo of your thermostat display showing the code you're getting?

Best,

Melba
