iPhone disconnected from thermostat.

My iPhone became disconnected. When I go to add my phone it says already connected to a device ( my wife's). It is also asking for a PIN number which I can not access. This is pissing me off to know end and the customer support appears to be non-existent.

Thanks for reaching out. The Nest Thermostats are made to be connected in one account. I just want to confirm, are you part of your wife's account Home member? Managing Home members is like letting other people like family members or roommates, use your devices in your home, and add them as home members.

If your wife is the main owner of the account where the thermostat is connected, she can invite you as a Home member for you to have access to the device. 

Another way is to reset your thermostat and connect it to your own account. Note: if you reset your thermostat, and add it to your account, it will be removed to your wife's account, but you can still invite her to be part of your Home member.
